L’histoire du festival

The world of Insane has become the must-see event of the summer.

Insane kicked off at the Avignon exhibition center, presenting an underground universe blending techno, trance and hard music.
The festival then continued its ascent at the Parc expo in Toulouse.

In 2018, victim of its success Insane moved to APT, offering for the first time an outdoor as well as a camping area.
As a result, it has become an essential festival in the South of France, attracting tens of thousands of people every year. Known for its cutting-edge programming, the festival has expanded to include rap, French and electronic music of all styles.

In 2019, the association AMD (Apt Musique & Développement) which has taken over management of the festival. Based in Apt, the company develops its activities through the production and organization of cultural events with high added value, and aims to develop contemporary music in the Luberon region.

After an empty 2020 and a reduced 2021, 2022 was the big comeback, with 3 days of festivities on the banks of the Apt lake.

This year, the 2025 edition the edition celebrates its 10th anniversary over 3 days, on the theme of the tenth dimension!
